I’ve never read a story quite like this before. A wonderful historical novel about two women brought together by circumstances neither of them could have imagined.
The Queen of Bushy House drew me in from the first page. A richly imagined and beautifully written novel, set amongst royal circles in early nineteenth century England.
As soon as I finished reading “The Queen of Bushy House”, I went down a rabbit hole searching for photos of Bushy House, the statue of Mrs Jordan, and more about the lives of each real life character. I love the way Molly brings the story of these women and their families to life.
